I appreciate that Peter Lugers served limited toppings. They know they don't need to fuck around. As they say, the proof is in the beef. Also, put bacon on everything.

This is the platonic ideal of a burger. The meat is the star: perfectly-salted, powerful, big enough to intimidate, but small enough to finish. The simple cheese and onion provide a Hegelian counterpoint to the depth of the beef flavor; respectively smooth and tart. And then there's the bacon.

This burger was juicy perfectly cooked and full of flavor it needed no extra sauce but the PL steak sauce was a subtle enhancer. The fries good but as a personal choice I prefer shoe string to steak cut still tasty The value excellent along with ambiance and value now my favorite along with Corzo Minetta you have been over thrown!

There is no better way to re enter civilization after an extended stay on Antarctica than to eat this majestic slab of glorious, dry aged magnificence. I would write more but I am too overwhelmed by the experience of this incredibly high-value, high quality Burger. Holy crap. This is a burger's Burger. A real thing that makes a man feel like a man, and a woman feel like a woman. It touches something deep inside, and the options of including the steak sauce, maybe even a cut of their deeply savage bacon. I am overwhelmed.

This is a fantastic burger. Great flavor, large, good price and very juicy. The crunch of the burger was amazing as well. I could go for some better cheese but the sauce is so good. The bacon was transcendent (in the words of Andrew Ousley). The bun was great and chewy but did push the burger around a bit.

Andrew gets a 8 because I missed him, but I deducted 2 point stars because of the Apple Watch and his long hair.

I knocked off a single point for toppings since technically I did not have any. No onion, no bacon, not even any cheese. I did not need any. This burger was a singular experience.

I even have to give Andrew a 10 for this one. I've been coming to Lugers for years and could not bring myself to have anything other than the Porterhouse, but Andrew and Burger Club changed all that. I once was blind, but now I see.

A magestic mountain of meat of a bun. It may have been a crime against humanity to not order a steak at Peter Lugars, but I don't care. Side of bacon was delicous thick slab of fatty pork belly, the fries were good but completely unnecessary. If you like great meat and not much else on top, this is your burger. Our waiter Karl was a gem.

The Luger Burger does not hide itself behind complex toppings or fusion inpired sides. This is your meat and potatoes burger that prides itself on the simplistic quality of the ingredients. Burger, bun, gorgeous meat and good Il' American cheese. Not to mention Karl... the german waiter who reminded me of the sound of music. As for Andrew.. he was made a man today when he cut large slabs of bacon... the bacon was glorious...I have a lot to compete with now :(

Great dry-Aged meat potently presented in this awesome burger. I felt like the cheese was a bit overwhelming for the palette and the bacon that I added was unnecessary . Patty though was just superb and the bread was almost unnoticeable but well-complimentary to the overall feel. Great value too at <20$!

Better then I remember. This classic burger needs not meat frills to impress. I bit into it and took the lords name in vain...in a good way.

This is a goddamn glorious piece of meat. I cannot explain the magic of this goddamn burger, but I have fallen in love anew. The steak, which we had one bite of each, is also magnificent. The bacon and fries are incredible. The ambiance old school and classy, and the attention to detail minute. A classic.

Burger was perfect, bacon app was delicious. Fries were a bit mediocre.

Medium raaaaare juicy patty was , cheese ok, bun fine. Overall a very satisfying experience 👍🍔

This piece of meat is just awesome simply delicious The sides are perfect that slab of bacon .,..,there are no words to describe except my father who’s favorite vegetable is pork who is in heaven would be in double heaven .
