My cultivated carnivorous caravan of crave-worthy culinary complexity,
Recently as I gazed up at the inky evening sky above Gotham, I saw the unmistakable flash of the Beef Signal, shining above the mid-summer mist and casting its cow-shaped lantern into the night. I knew then and there that it was time to gather our meaty ranks and wage war against the proliferating forces of un-enlightened burger-eating - to combat the callous consumption of chopped cheesy beef.
The next great battle in our tireless fight will take place August 5th at 5PM, as we descend upon Brooklyn's Cozy Royale to sample that most-splendid combination of meat + martini, with their patties coming direct from the great Brooklyn butchery, Meat Hook.
See you there, my fellow sirloin soldiers.

The raclette cheese added a touch of sweetness that balanced the crunch of the meat. The throwback music reminded me of early 2000s Williamsburg when the only burger in town was from Diner. The bacon jam added the perfect pungent punch that was much more delightful than adding a greasy slab of bacon to the burger. The crunch added a bit of a meat cracker feel but it was worth it to experience the full embodiment of the burger as a whole.
An excellently harmonious burger that has one flaw: texture. I feel the patty may have been overworked/overcooked and had a more substantial chew than this Andrew prefers.
This was a fantastic burger. I love the combination of the bacon jam, burger sauce, pickled red onions and then the dry aged burger combine to give you a rush of flavor. It may be small but it packs a real punch and is one of the best burgers I've had in a while.

This is about the salt, fat juice and crunch. Everything Cozy Royale is extremely intentional, everything you order here is better than it needs to be. The burger is no different. But if you're looking for juicy meat texture, it's not this one. Although I it is exceptional in flavor, it's a matter of mood and taste. Martinis and fries are spot in.
I really enjoyed this burger. Like a better shake shack, the price felt right and everything worked well. I wish the meat had better mouth feel and maybe a bit more flavor - my only negative comment. Loved the bacon jam.
A beautiful burger in a beautiful bar, the bacon jam and fancy sauce add smoke and tang, and the beef - while slightly over cooked - is flavorful and rich. the martinis elevate the mood and create a beautiful halo around the whole experience. A delight from start to finish.
