The overall performance of this burger meant business. A well balanced and perfectly prepared smash burger; the texture of the patty was everything you want, thin and crumbly and embodied with that dry aged beefy flavor. The toppings all played their part and would each be missed if they hadn’t made it between the bun; however, I did find there to be a touch too much bacon jam at times overpowering the patty. The French fries would be a quality side to any hamburger and the biggest plus for me is that I was offered mayonnaise for dipping. The wonderful staff, music, atmosphere, and kitschy decor created a welcoming environment every neighborhood would be proud to have.
