Love the peppercorn in this burger. The side of the au poivre is Pulitzer. I’m sufficiently full, what more can I say?

This is a delightful burger...a taste explosion that changes with each bite. A complex melding of flavors from creamy to peppery to salty to crunchy to smooth, and everything in between. Only complaints - the meat is masked by the many other players on the field, and the $8 surcharge for seated service - while admirably accurate to the french roots of the restaurant, caused value to take a hit.

Andrew, once again, was watchless and late. 3/10.
The burger was delicious but the beef was overwhelmed by the pepper crust and toppings. Great texture, great flavor overall but not on par with some of its similar-priced brethren.

Burger was fantastic, but a few critiques. Pepper was a little overwhelming on the burger so I had trouble getting the true flavor of the beef. I also felt like I was done with the flavors by the last quarter of the burger. And, the fact that the price of the burger was $8 less at the bar vs the same thing at a table seems kind of ridiculous, so that is impacting value. Cool venue though and the burger was definitely high quality and cooked well.

This remains one of the great burgers of NYC. The significant increase in price hurts the value, but the harmonious of the experience is still soul-fueling and heart-pumpingly magnificent. The fries are the god that McDonalds prays to. The au poivre sauce is the divine glue that ties it all together.
The world is a better place for having this burger in it.

Excellent burger, everything worked well together. The bun was perfect for the burger and the fries complemented it well. It was rich but I didn’t feel the need to stop. The location was awesome as well, classic New York spot. Also I haven’t eaten inside a restaurant for 3 years so a McDonald’s would excite me at this point.

Like an old friend with a lot of style, always great to have this burger (that analogy, as well as the word ‘analogy’, are not meant to be a sexual innuendo) . This burger is a sumptuous mouthful of salty meat fat, balanced with cornichon and watercress, hugged by a brioche bun, that you can dunk in meat juice. What’s not to love.

Another triumph at Raoul’s. The return of burger club alone was worth the high ratings, but generally this burger is always going to be at the very top of my list for New York food and atmosphere experiences. The bun was magic - light, fluffy, but held its constitution beautifully. It was a perfect vehicle for the enjoyment of the main event - the beef. My only slight comment on the burger itself is that there was a bit more cracked pepper than I would’ve liked in the patty itself. There was plenty in the delightful au poivre sauce. One-word version of this review: YUM.
